Unfortunatly you may have to prepare for a mundane videogame fanboy type of post,I know I haven't displayed any new facets of my personality lately but you'll have to forgive me,because I'm just a very tired person right now who's dreading the christmas catering rush....
Halo 2 has come out recently (as if you could help but be aware of the fact...) and floating under the shadows is the most anticipated gamecube game in a long time Metroid Prime 2.Both FPS (first person shooters) both sequels to critically accllaimed top-selling videogames. And it looks as though they're both getting very favourable reviews but the complaints about both of them are that they aren't axactly as "Fresh" and "innovative" as the originals. It's somewhate strange to me how fickle the critics can be...when the first ones are released they almost always say "Great game but it's not long enough" then they give the games a 10/10 score and then when a sequel comes out the is just as good or better than the first they say "it doesn't redefine gaming like the first one did" i mean, "hello!it's a sequel" or when they DO change something they say "It's not really a 'mario' game" (smb 2 for instance).or Link looks to kiddy for a "Zelda" game...
(and oh my gosh!I just learned why smb2 is SOOOO different than the others!!!!
they borrowed the engine from a game called "Doki doki panic" and changed it into a mario game! that's why there is no bowser and everything is completly out of the ordinary for the mario universe.....anyways back to my topic)
anyways,I'm just excited about playing an extension to metroid prime and I mean if this was the 4th installment of metroid prime i would say "enough already, overstauration, the metroids don't care anymore, samus needs a break!".I actually really love sequels that play the same as the originals, scpescially when the originals are perfection....
oh,and I have joined every other nintendo fanboy in my inevitable love for "zelda".I'd never played a zelda game before i bought "the wind waker" yesterday, and i must say I can't believe What i've been missing,it's the only video game that has made me cry and it also the amazing ability to draw you in so much that you feel for all the characters, you get completly swept up in the ambient moods of the giant sea that the game tzakes place on...and I've never played such an open-ended game the entire game takes place on island all over a huge sea and you can get in you boat and sail off to any island you feel like ,and you brave the weather and ocean enemies
and it's just such an enormous adventure that i can't believe i waied so long before getting in on what all those zelda fanatics have been raving about for years....
anyways i'm extremly tired and tiresome so goodnight...........
