Charlie White is wonderful. He's somebody I definatly look up to. This is the first work of his I saw. It was on a website about urban legends and it's a photo that some people thought was evidence of the legendary "goat sucker",the chupacabra. it's a digital manipulation but it's fantastiocly real looking and the pictures he puts together have such a pervasive mood. It's completly clear what he wants to bring across there isn't much misinterpertation to be had.check out this other work of his here. It's incredibly artificial looking and that's the way most of his work appears to be to me. But the effort and time he puts into each of his pictures is astounding to me.There is no way he whips these off fast, and I bet they're expensive too.that's what gives them that gloss,I suppose. BUT recently he released what could be my favorite work of his to date, that is the short film "Pink" that he did for adidas adicolor,in which adidas had seven directors each do a short film based around one of the colors used in their product...most of the are garbage a few are okay but "Pink" is amazing,I've watched it countless times and it still rocks. If I ever have half the talent this director/photographer has I'd be thrilled beyond comprehension....sorry for the fanboy post but it's been a while yes?

What the f*** is wrong with people? http://www.ebaumsworld.com/videos/placenta-snack.html My gosh, this is actually a reccomended practice in some cultures as it's apperantly good for you...mabye it's good for the body but it can't possibly be good for the mind...I actually wish I was at that small party so I could throw up on each and every one of the guests, Except that one woman who doesn't eat it because she "couldn't handle it, it's just the thought of it". I would like to kiss her.Anyways, the other guests would probably just scrape the puke off of themselves put it in a martini shaker add gin and make "vomit cocktails".

We are all bad writers by nature. Everyone (no exceptions) has had the experience of sitting down to write some thoughtful wisdom on how they rate the world and their particular (crappy) viewpoints. He or she will grab his or her writing utensil of choice (usually a pen, bad idea, for lack of the ability to erase your own shit) and jot down something like: "Life is life". Headcocked, he or she will try and understand what is meant, and endlessly ponder wether or not the readers (who don't actually exist and never will) will understand or care. If a keyboard is the means by which the writer wishes to express his viewpoints, he at once realises that it is the words the will add interest and not the flourishes he puts in with his handwriting. Such flourishes can be: a too long tail on the bottom of his g's y's and j's or a small picture doodled into the margin, like a dead tree (that started out as a pale, wan face but didn't looks so good and ended up being scribbled over and turned into foliage and that's how come the trunk has an odd mump-ish look to it). It doesn't help that we don't know where the commas belong, and there ends up being far too many in any given writing by our commen layperson, which adds boredom and confusion, to any piece. So something gets written and 1 hour dissappears and you're left with a bit of trash to stuff behind your bed (and it crinkles like a diaper whenever you leap onto your mattress). One time I wrote something that I thought was awesome and it wasn't so good when I found it years later. One time I wrote a poem that I liked a lot and when I found it years later it really stinked. Writing is a (crass) joy that should be experienced by everybody. I like pretending to write, like coming up with wild and crazy flights of fancy and imagining putting it into words. This is one method of feeling creative but when you put it on paper it'll sound retarded and make you look like a buffoon 'cause all you'll write is "Maiden has pretty hair" or "The car thundered down the gravel road like a postal worker on crack", or "Life is life".

I remember when "MmmBop" by Hanson was in it's heyday. I'd never heard the song until last week....It's really good.I love it...I'm way behind just like I was with "Wannabe" by The Spice Grils which I also only heard for the first time recently and love. That's what happens when you buy "Dance hits MEGA MIXES '98" at Value village.

I really dislike blogging about music or movies but lately there isn't anything I'd rather do on my blogspot than gush about my latest new love in the world of multimedia...
so today it's a wonderful CD that I haven't even finished listening to I'm on track 5. the CD is called "catching up with depeche mode" and it's easily my faveorite Depeche mode CD.which may be odd because I own their classics "Black celebration","Music for the masses" and "violator" which are most people faveorites.this Cd is a "best of" album before depeche mode even really had any hits.their "gothic-dance" nstyle that most people recognise is nowhere to be seen on these songs because this was made before they had made any of those type of songs.but for some reason I totally love the old bubbely synth pop style they had long ago. They have probably reached what I'd call my "exact-taste" they sound just like I want them to sound, just the best synthesizer lines and the best choruses.I don't know,if you think you might possibly be a fan of 80's dance music I can't think of any other CD I'd rather reccomend than this CD it's extremly fun and only 10 mdollars most places.every song is something to write home about...and that's what I'm doing here...
